Hello sweet team. Welcome back to my channel, this is sweet Adjeley.

I am super excited to be with you all today and I hope everyone is doing wonderfully well. So today we are making Ghana pancake the authentic one. This recipe was requested a long time ago but am so sorry. But hey, better late than never. Let’s get started as I take you through my ingredients.

Step by step method

  • STEP 1

    I begin by adding all my wet ingredients in my blender and I crack the egg in a separate bowl before adding it. I add the milk rinse out the bowl and add the water as well. Add everything and the flour for me is usually the last thing that goes in last. Because if it goes in first in will be sticking to the side of the blender.

  • STEP 2

    At this point, now I blend it, and you will want to give it a quick blend and then that is it, because you don’t want to overmix. Scrape the side of your blender bowl or whatever bowl you are using. And this is the consistency that am looking for. Because it’s very running, it’s very light butter, because this is crisp, we call it pancakes in Ghana. And you should coat the back of the spoon or whatever you are using and when you make that line, it should not run in it, it should be perfect.

  • STEP 3

    I then heat my pan, added some oil and we begin frying. Once you added a little full you will want to spin it or rotate it around until everything is spread out beautifully, because if you don’t do this your pancakes are going to be thick. This have to be very light, airy and fluffy. And when the sides begin to brown like that. It is you cue to flip it over. So while you are frying you should look on your edges of the pancake and if it begins to brown then the button is perfect. It looks so good, don’t be like me and finish it before everything is done. So am going to repeat the process and keep frying until everything is fried up. And as i said when you are frying just look at the sides, once you see it, just look at that so beautiful, nice and golden brown. And you need to fry this on medium low. You don’t want to hurry it up, be patient with it and its going to be beautiful. And there you have it, bring your milk, your ice cream whatever it is. It’s about to go down.
